Dr. Nancy R. Hooyman is the Professor of Gerontology and Dean
Emerita at the University of Washington School of Social Work. A Fellow in the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare, she has authored 14 books and over 130 articles related to aging and caregiving. Dr. Hooyman is a recipient of the CSWE Lifetime Achievement Award in Social Work Education and the Gerontological Society’s Kent Award.
